The Australian Chin Lien Chinese Association (ACLCA) was established in 1992. ACLCA is formed by the descendants of Qin Zhou, Hepu. Ling Shan and Fang Cheng of the Guan Xi province in China with the purpose of providing mutual care and support in their new homeland. In 1998, the ACLCA raised funds to build a Kwan Yin Temple in which stand three statues of the most respectable of all traditional Chinese Gods for worship. Each symbolizes their own genuine virtue:
These Gods inspire and lead us to the spirit of kindness toward others.
The ACLCA is a Non-Profit Organisation, providing various services to the community and also supporting government multicultural activities in an effort to integrate the community into mainstream Australia.
